This lovely nursery cutter set is from Marion Frost's Patchwork Cutter range. This cutter set is ideal for celebration cakes such as Christening and1st Birthdays. It consists of 5 cutters including baby, and toys (Rabbit, duck, horse and bricks). The baby measures 7cm x 5cm, the horse 5.5cm x 4.5cm, the bricks 3cm x 2.5cm, the bunny 5.5cm x 3cm and the duck 3.5cm x 2.5cm.The toys can also be used for a number of novelty cakes and of course the duck and rabbit would make great Easter decorations - a very versatile set!

As with all Patchwork cutters this is very versatile and can be used in many different ways. Emboss directly onto the cake and then paint or cut out either as one piece or by applying a little more pressure to the cutter you can cut out in several sections allowing you to build up a 3d motif. A beautiful cutter for Christenings and young children. If the shapes are left to dry off the cake they can be positioned as free standing ornaments for a wonderful effect.

The recommended paste to use is Mexican paste which you can make yourself or can buy either as a ready to mix powder or as ready to use paste.
