Patchwork Cutters - PATCHWORK SQUARES EMBOSSER

This Patchwork Squares cutter and  embosser set is from Marion Frost at Patchwork cutters. The set consists of a grid embosser to mark the sugarpaste and eight different squares with a variety of pretty designs. The Patchwork set is completed by the addition of a lace cutter.

You can emboss directly onto the cake surface using the grid, repeating the impression as many times as required or for a better result roll out the paste and emboss before carefully lifting the paste into position on the cake taking care not to smooth out the impression. Perfect for all sorts of cakes but especially nice for nursery and Christening celebrations. Once you have laid out the design using the grid then you can complete by cutting out the small squares using different coloured pastes or by painting in the details once the paste has crusted over. It is also quick and simple to add colour by dipping the patchwork square cutter into a little powder food colour before cutting out. Use the colour sparingly! To finish a lace border can be cut out with the lace cutter.
