 Squires Kitchen Mexican modelling paste is the perfect paste for all kinds of figure modelling. It is flexible and dries to a firm finish. 

Mexican modelling paste is not as soft as flower paste and does not dry quite so hard so it is not so good for wired flowers but will make unwired flowers beautifully.

MMP is also the perfect paste for using with Patchwork cutters as it does not stick or stretch.
