Sugarflair Dust Colours
Please see the below three types of dust colours available in the Sugarflair range. All the below are perfect for dusting sugarcraft items but vary in shade and ingredients. Please see the following short breakdown of each type of colour. Blossom Colours This is an edible colour that can be used on all sugarcraft items including sugar flowers, frills, plaques, models and so much more. The colours are a strong but plain colouring designed to give a subtle and impressive finish. Lustre Colours As with the above this dust is an edible dust best used to decorate sugarcraft items. The key difference between lustre colour and the blossom colour above is lustre colours are tinted with a shiny finish to give dusted items a beautiful shine finish. Craft Colours The 10 vibrant shades of blue pink and violet can only be achieved by using erythrosine food colour as an ingredient. 1996 food colour legislation only permits the use of erythrosine to be consumed when present in glace cherries!!! Therefore this is officially classified as non-toxic but not edible. Now I'll leave that to your common sense! If you are producing for others it is best to only use these colours on items that are to be removed however since it is obviously safe enough to eat in cherries you can use it as you see fit for your own consumption. Sometimes Brussels goes mad!
