This is a 14ml pot of food colour. Because so little food colour is needed you will find that this lasts and lasts. This product is new and sealed and sold from a specialist cake decoration shop so you can be sure that it is in peak condition and kept and handled under perfectly hygienic conditions. The best before date is guaranteed to be at least a year and in most cases it is more likely to be 2 or 3 years! As this is a best before date and not a sell by date you can even continue to use the the product for some considerable time after this date - it does not 'go off' but may start to lose some of it's colour or become lumpier as it gets older.
As the colour is applied to the paste in droplet form it is not only very easy to apply but means you will have less chance of contaminating the bottle with foreign matter, this may happen when using the paste colours by dipping objects into the tub to apply. Any foreign matter in the tub could not only effect the colour but also the shelf life of the product.
Sugarflair Droplet colour is perfect for colouring pastes of all types including sugarpaste, mexican paste, modelling pastes, playdough and many others. It can also be used for painting Because Sugarflair droplet colour is so concentrated it will colour without making the paste sticky.
As Sugarflair droplet colours are already in liquid form they are also idea to paint with and require much less dilution (if any) than the Sugarflair paste colours.
Always start with a small amount of colour mixed into a small piece of paste. You need very little to get a strong colour. You can then mix the small piece of paste into the bulk of your paste until the desired colour is achieved. A variety of shades can be achieved with each paste colour dependant upon how much you add from a hint of colour to a strong vibrant shade. You can also mix colours by adding small amounts of different colours to give even more fabulous colours! Really versatile and great value for money.
